Stock / Delivery

Shootingstuff holds many products in stock - however, often we need to order direct from the manufacturer. Once we receive your order, we organise delivery as quickly as possible. Delays in international shipping, manufacturer out of stock etc. are out of our control. If you require your item urgently, please email us to check if it is in stock, or the estimated delivery time.  Photos and colours may vary for products.  Sometimes it is not possible to have the correct photos.

Delivery to International Customers; all taxes, duties and levies required in the shoppers receiving country are the responsibility of the shopper.  Our prices do not include any of these.

Special Orders

Special orders that have been manufacturer specifically to your measurements or are an unusual item not normally held in stock by Shooting Stuff which have imported at your request are non-refundable.  Any deposit paid for these special orders is non-refundable unless the purchaser to offer an alternative purchaser for the item.

Custom Made Jackets - the customer is responsible for ensuring the measurements supplied are correct. In the event that measurements are not correct, we will endeavor to have the jacket altered at the customers expense. Incorrectly manufactured jackets that do not conform to customers measurement sheet will be rectified at our expense.

Any firearms imported on Special orders will require a deposit of at least 50% - if the firearms has already gone through overseas Customs processing and the order can not be cancelled and the purchaser will be required to continue with the order.  On agreement with the purchaser and Shooting Stuff Ltd we may be able to on sell the item but the deposit will be non-refundable.  If we are able to on-sell in a reasonable time we will arrange a refund of the deposit but only once the item has been on sold.

If we do agree to refund there will be a 20% restocking/administration fee deducted from the deposit paid to cover administration and banking expenses.

All alterations or issues with custom clothing fit must be notified to us within 60 days of your clothing being delivered.

This does not waive your rights under the Consumers Guarantees Act.


While we endeavor to keep all prices up to date, changes in international exchange rates, local prices or other factors may require us to contact you to confirm your order and price. Placing an order on our website does not constitute a contract to supply at the displayed price.

Special Prices;  shown on the website with a reduced price are for items that are in stock only.  If you are after another size that we do not have in stock the price will be the non sale price.

Firearms and Ammunition

Shootingstuff will only sell firearms, barrels, actions, ammunition or working parts to New Zealand customers only. Customers are required to provide a current firearms license, or original signed police mail order form - as required by New Zealand law. No exceptions.

Ammunition on special or as part of a special offer may be sold as loose boxes, mixed batches or prior years stock.   

Emailing Tools

Shootingstuff provides tools on its website to tell a friend about products. These tools must not be misused in any way to send spam or other content which would violate our privacy policy or Terms and Conditions. We do not permanently store, sell, or rent these email messages or the email addresses.

Use of your information

Shootingstuff does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

We will only release account and other personal information if we believe release is appropriate to comply with law, facilitate court proceedings, enforce or apply our terms and conditions, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Shootingstuff Limited, our users, or others.  Our website may use external services such as Mailchimp or similar, which may access data directly from our website.



It is the policy of Shootingstuff to send our members emails throughout the purchasing process and other Newsletter emails they elect to receive. Further, it is our policy to immediately remove any member from any mailing list upon the members request.

Membership Registration

Our sites registration form requires you to provide us contact information and may also require demographic information. Your contact information may be used to contact you when necessary

Credit Card Security

We work diligently to protect the security of your personal information, including credit card information. Your credit card details do not get processed or transmitted through or via Shootingstuff website, all transactions are processed through a secure payment service provider. Shootingstuff uses Paypal to provide this service. Paypal hosts and manages the payment page. All transaction sessions are stored and processed in encrypted strings. 

Membership Removal

If you wish to have your registration removed from our directory for any reason, simply send us an email requesting to be removed.

Marketing emails contain a unsubscribe link.

Warranty Policy

Shooting Stuff Ltd warranty policy covers our products for 12 months from the purchase date. Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process.

Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy. If the product is still under warranty then the repair will be at our expense.

If your purchase arrives damaged, you must notify us within 5 days of reciept of the goods. If possible please inform the delivery company of damage as soon as possible. This enables us to claim against the carrier, and provide you with a replacement.

Shooting Stuffs Warranty Policy has 4 solutions to any claim made:

  1. Wherever possible we will endeavour to repair any fault and return it to you at no charge.
  2. Where repair is not possible or practical we will replace the product with the same or similar product.
  3. If a repair or replacement is not possible due to the product being unavailable we will exchange it for any of Shooting Stuffs products of the same value as your original purchase price.
  4. Where none of the above solutions is possible or practical then you have the option of receiving a full refund or store credit.

Returns Policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase upon receipt, please follow these procedures to ensure a prompt replacement, store credit or refund.

We issue refunds if:

Refund is requested within 30 days of purchase

We do not issue refunds if:

You choose to change your mind

You decide not to use our product

You find our product does not suit your needs

All returns must be returned in saleable condition, with all packaging and accessories.  All returns will be inspected before a refund is issued.

Shootingstuff reserves the right to charge a restocking fee.  This is to cover our lost time and costs packaging, sending, invoicing, receiving and crediting you for the product.  We reserve the right to offer a store credit only for returned items.

Shootingstuff reserves the right to charge freight costs for items exchanged for change of sizes, colours, specifications.  If the change has come about due to the customers error when ordering.

Inner Rewards

  1. Inner Rewards are for individual customer purchases only.  Corporations, retailers, associations, including schools, clubs or other groups may not participate
  2. Shooting Stuff reserves the right to refuse customers inner points earned if we feel the system is being abused and being used for purchases of a retail nature.
  3. Inner rewards are not transferrable to other customers.
  4. If we detect abuse of the system we will cancel all points on your account and refuse use of the system going forward.
  5. Shooting Stuff may at any time or without notice suspend or modify Inners Rewards.  Termination, modification and suspension may affect a customers ability to redeem accumulated points.
  6. Points do not constitute property, do not entitle a customer to a vested right or interest and have no cash value.  As such, points are not redeemable for cash, transferable or assignable for any reason.
  7. A customers continued participation in the rewards program constitutes their acceptance of any changes to these rules.


Annual Ammunition Indent Order

Annually we place out the option for shooters to pre-order their next years ammunition.

Orders are to be placed via the correct paper or online form.  Once the order is received we will send confirmation of your order at which time your full payment is required.

Free Shipping offer is only available on orders over 5000 rounds received as a total pre-ordered order from a club or individual.  Orders must be going to the same address only.

Sometimes stock current may be used to fulfill the order. 

We endeavour to ensure the shipment is received by February each year, however as is often the case with sea shipping sometimes delays happen.
